摘要:
Given its importance in stabilizing the Higgs mass, probing the superpartner of top quark is a high-priority study at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC). LHC8 has set some constraints on the top squark mass at about 700 GeV. However, in the challenging compressed scenario where the mass difference between top squark and lightest neutralino is small, top squark can be still light, but the traditional search strategy cannot exclude it. In my talk, I will show our two recent studies on the top squark search in the compressed scenario. In the first work, we used the Vector Boson Fusion (VBF) topology selection to explore the compressed region. In the second work, the top squark can decay into slepton or sneutrino via a 3-body decay. This decay mode has not been studied yet and has strong connection to muon g-2 problem.
