摘要:

在超对称规范理论中,某些特殊物理量的期望值可以进行利用局域化方法严格求解,即把其抽象的无穷维路径积分表达约化成简单的多重定积分(俗称矩阵模型)。这些积分展现有趣的因式分解特性,对应到底空间流形的切割和粘合。在报告中我们将回顾局域化方法,延伸至其已知的因式分解性质,简介超对称配分函数的几何含义,最后展望未来进展。

 

The Method of Supersymmetric Localization

Abstract: In supersymmetric gauge theories, there are physical quantities that can be computed exactly using localization. The procedure reduces the infinite path integral to finite integrals (the so called "matrix model"). These matrix model exhibits interesting factorization properties, which correspond to the cut/gluing of the base space manifolds. In this seminar we will review the method of localization, then proceed to the known factorization properties and briefly review the geometrical meaning of supersymmetric partition function. Finally we discuss possible future developments.
