摘要:Neutrinos and anti-neutrinos produced by accelerators are the major tools to study Lepontic CP Violation (LCPV). In long baseline oscillation experiments such as Hyper-K and DUNE, they are detected via interactions with nuclear targets. Through determination of the (anti-neutrino energy spectra, information on LCPV can be obtained. In the neutrino-nucleus interactions, the target nucleon initial state and its final-state interactions have non-negligible impact on the neutrino energy spectra measurement. Studying such nuclear effects is therefore crucial for improving the LCPV sensitivity. In this talk, the novel application of transverse kinematic imbalance to this problem will be introduced [1]. We will also discuss the prospect of circumventing nuclear effects to measure neutrino energy spectra with attainable experimental techniques [2].
